Windows Server 2016 2025-03 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2016 for x64-based Systems (KB5053594). Roll's back

It looks like you dragged the scriptfile (SFCFix.txt) inside the attach zipfile, instead of the zipfile itself.
Please follow the instructions in message #59 at Step 1 carefully.
 
Great. Restart the machine.
Try the upgrade again and report the result.
 
The log looks clean.
Provide a screenshot of the upgrade failure message.
 
so it doesnt seem to be rolling back anymore but the update is failing

Provide a fresh copy of the file cbs.log.
 
Attach following files when available:
- C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\panther\setupact.log
- C:\$Windows.~BT\sources\panther\setupapi\setupapi.dev.log
- C:\$Windows.~BT\sources\panther\setupapi\setupapi.app.log
 
Attach the file C:\Windows\INF\setupapi.dev.log when available.
 
FRST Scan:
  1. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
  2. Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator".
  3. Press the Fix button.
  4. The tool will now process fixlist.txt.
  5. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  6. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
  7. Attach the logfile Fixlog.txt to your next reply.

Add Missing Package
1. Click the Start button and type cmd in the search box.
2. Right-click on the cmd that comes up and select Run as administrator.
3. Once you are at the command prompt, copy/paste the following line and press enter.
pnputil -a C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_uaspstor.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.14393.7155_none_c83b9b4f83c88dbd\uaspstor.inf

4. You will likely receive a prompt that the publisher of the driver cannot be verified. Please install the driver anyway as this message is normal.
 
It comes back saying it failed due to it being unsigned. Doesnt prompt anything just fails it.
