so it looks like i am missing KB2670838 and KB2533623

i tried installing KB2670838 normally using MSU and it got stuck for 2 hours.

CBS.log also stopped updating so i restarted the machine and tried installing using DISM but it also failed

I tried using DISM for KB2533623 but its not applicable

Copy the files C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\cbs.log and C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log to your desktop.
Zip them and attach the zipped file to your next reply.

Install Update with DISM

Download the MSU update here: https://download.microsoft.com/down...093-5E00182609EB/Windows6.1-KB2670838-x64.msu
Copy the MSU file to a convenient location (such as C:\temp).
Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

cd C:\temp
replace C:\temp with your path if different

expand Windows6.1-KB2670838-x64.msu -f:* C:\temp

DISM.exe /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\temp\Windows6.1-KB2670838-x64.cab
You should receive the message:
The operation completed successfully.
Make sure to allow the computer to restart if prompted.
If you receive any other message:
Post a screenshot of the Commandprompt window.
Zip and attach the file C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log

I've been doing the same steps and DISM has been failing with this error. I did all the steps again just to make sure I didn't miss anything but I got the same error in post #75
