No error messages.
Windows Explorer was "not responding" so ran SFC.
ran sfc and it could not repair the following:
SFC can not repair license.rtf and _dataperfcounters_shared12_neutral.h
ran: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
same two file errors.

From the CBS log we can see the two corrupt files that are being reported by DISM and their expected hash.
We can also determine that they are from Windows 10 RTM (10.0.10240.16384).

Very good, glad to hear it :thumbsup2:

I'll mark the thread solved. Post back if you encounter any problems and I'll continue to assist you.

Hi, I have this type of problem as well and was hoping you guys make a script for me as well to fix it. Do you guys need the entire CBS file? (mine is currently at 9MB). I copied the part where it was having an error, hope this is enough (please see attached file)

Just a backstory, I was trying to update Windows 10 Anniversary update, but it always fails so I searched online and ended by running the sfc /scannow command in CMD. If it helps, I cloned my OS to another hard drive and have been running Windows in this new drive. The other drive was formatted.

Thanks!

Hi there SGPAO!

Please create a thread for your issue here: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=88
Be sure to zip and attach C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log with your first post, I'll need the whole log :)

If the zip is larger than 8mb, use a file sharing service such as OneDrive, DropBox, SendSpace, etc. and include the link instead.

Once complete, post a link to your thread here and I will reply.
