I even uploaded the CBS folder as well.



I started to take notice of this event because it looked like windows could not connect to the internet but i was using google chrome just fine. Even windows help for these codes say i need to connect to the net to get online help, i'm lost with this error. I thing to note is, i have a capture card for youtube gameplay and i started to see that it would not upload to youtube, that's the moment i put the to together, windows and this program can't connect for some reason. Thanks in advance for any help you peeps can throw at me.

Thing to notes, i still get my windows 10 ready icon in the bottom but can't update?

System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) - Scan
Follow the instructions below to run a scan with the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) and provide a log;
  • Download the right version of SURT for your system;
    • Your version of Windows is:
  • Once downloaded, execute the installer, and go throught the installation (this process can take around 15-20 minutes);
  • On completion, a log will be created in C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log;
  • Attach this log in your next reply;

WARNING! The following fix is specific to the user's system in this thread. No one else should follow the instructions below to apply that fix, as it could damage your system. If you need assistance with an issue, please start a new thread and someone will assist you shortly.

Follow the instructions below to fix the errors reported by the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT);
  • Download the attached archive file, Packs.zip and save it on your Desktop;
  • Once it's downloaded, right-click on it and select Extract All...;
  • Check the Show extracted files when complete checkbox, and click on Extract;
  • On completion, a folder will open with two folders inside it, Manifests and Packages;
    • Copy and paste the files of the Manifests folder (if there are any) inside C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\winsxs\Manifests
    • Copy and paste the files of the Packages folder (if there are any) inside C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\servicing\Packages
  • Run the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) again;

That's good :) Before I go on, I just want to make sure that your hard drive isn't failing. Follow the instructions below please.

GSmartControl
Follow the instructions below to test your hard drive health with GSmartControl:
  • Download GSmartControl and save it on your Desktop;
  • Extract the content of the GSmartControl .zip archive and execute gsmartcontrol.exe;
  • Identify your drive in the list, and double-click on it to bring up it's window (usually you'll find your drive by it's size or it's brand name);
  • Go in the Perform Tests tab, then select Extended Self-test in the Test type drop-down list and click on Execute (this test can take a few hours to complete);
  • Once the test is over, the results will be displayed at the bottom of the window. Please copy and paste these results in your next reply;
  • Also, go in the Attributes tab and if you have any entries highlighted in red or pink, copy and paste their name in your next reply (or take a screenshot of the GSmartControl window and attach it in your next reply);

Okay testing now, will it take 79 mins are is that a guess. It would be very odd for my HDD to be going out or have errors, it's a SSD. i uploaded a pic with the specs of the drive and still running the test. Will repost when done

Alright, we'll run a CHKDSK /F just in case. I just want to make sure that there's no corruption on the drive since you had a lot of corrupted files reported by SURT.

Check Disk (chkdsk)
Follow the instructions below to run a CHKDSK scan on your Windows partition;
  • On Windows Vista & 7, click on the Windows Start Menu, then enter cmd in the search box, right-click on the cmd icon and select Run as Administrator
  • On Windows 8, drag your cursor in the bottom-left corner, and right-click on the metro menu preview, then select Command Prompt (Admin);
  • On Windows 8.1, right click on the Windows logo in the bottom-left corner and select Command Prompt (Admin);
  • Enter the command chkdsk /f (there's a space between "chkdsk" and "/f") and press on Enter;
  • A message will be returned, stating that the drive cannot be locked because it's already in use, and you'll be asked if you want to schedule the scan for the next restart. Enter y and press on Enter;
  • Restart your computer, and the chkdsk scan will be launched automatically;
  • Once the chkdsk scan is complete and you're back in Windows, find the log in the Event Viewer and copy/paste it in your next reply;
WARNING: Depending on your hard drive (specs, free space, fragmentation, etc.) this scan can be relatively long to complete. Give it all the time it needs to finish. Do not interrupt it for any reason there is, or you might be damaging your drive in the process and make your Windows unbootable. It's suggested to let this scan run overnight or when you leave the house for a few hours (when you go to work for example). If you are running this scan on a laptop, don't forget to leave it plugged in;

I'm doing the test right now, but i would like to ask something. Is there a reason why this system update Readiness tool (SURT) is named Hotfix (KB947821)? Everytime i think i'm running a update but it's really a test so odd in my eyes
 
It's not unusual for Microsoft to name their "tests" and "hotfix" as Windows Updates (KB names). I don't know the reason behind it so I cannot really explain it to you :P

  • Download SFCFix and move the executable on your Desktop;
  • Download the attached SFCFixScript.txt and move the file to your Desktop;
    Note: Make sure that the file is named SFCFixScript.txt, do not rename it.
  • Save any work you have open, and close every programs;
  • Drag the SFCFixScript.txt file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it;
  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete;
  • Once done, a file will appear on your Desktop, called SFCFix.txt;
  • Open the file, then copy and paste its content in your next reply;

I might have to test this in 2 hours, I do tests for VMC so going to need the computer for 2 hours and can't have it going down. Sorry for this. will post right away when i get a chance.
