After following all instructions, I've gotten zero responses now for over two weeks. So I am starting over and I hope that's okay. I can't use Windows update. Period. All of my info is in the following thread: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-update/6523-windows-update-error-80070002-a.html#post52690 Could someone else please take this over and actually help me find a solution? :banghead:

The result is logged in the C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log file - and an archive …\checksur.persist.log file Then zip the CheckSUR.log and upload it to reply.

I can't see this being fixable by anything less than a repair install https://www.sysnative.com/forums/wi...-install-windows-windows-7-windows-vista.html
