When the Windows 8 Release Preview was first launched in late May, a number of users experienced a "freezing" issue with the operating system. Even Neowin readers have experienced this problem and
opened a thread on our message boards to talk about it.
Recently, a Microsoft employee, identified on Twitter as "tripparks", the "Senior Software Development Lead in Test at Microsoft",
responded to a Twitter question about the freezing problem and that we should "stay tuned". Now
Techie-buzz.com reports that the freezing build has now been corrected in internal builds of Windows 8, little surprise here as we would expect Microsoft to fix this bug before launching.
