[SOLVED] Windows 8 BSODs Multiple errors

Hello and welcome to Sysnative!

Outdated 3rd Party Drivers
These drivers are ones manufactured by a 3rd Party (not Microsoft) and are either outdated or known causes of BSOD's.
To update the drivers to the latest version, follow the links below the drivers to find the manufacturer's website and the download location. If an update cannot be found, please uninstall the related software or device. The software can be uninstalled via Control Panel and the device through Device Manager. If you are stuck and require help, please let me know.

LVHybr64.sys Mon May 28 10:42:01 2007 (465AA3E9)

LVHybr64.sys - this driver hasn't been added to the DRT as of this run. Please search Google/Bing for the driver if additional information is needed.
Some manual research reveals all! :) This driver is from a Liveview product - Animation Technologies Inc.. I would recommend uninstalling any software and/or device accosiated with this. The driver installed is very old and unlikely to work with Windows 8. Their website is not much help, not many new drivers available.

BSOD Analysis

Uninstall the above drivers and see how the system responds afterwards. You mentioned the system is probably 2-3 years old, what OS was installed before Windows 8? Was that stable or did that BSOD? Just wondering, it may help to rule out or prove hardware faults.

Once all the above driver are uninstalled, please run Driver Verifier - https://www.sysnative.com/forums/bs...river-verifier-blue-screen-death-related.html

Asus ATK0110 ACPI Utility (a known BSOD maker in Win7 and Win8). Also a part of many Asus utilities
https://www.sysnative.com/drivers/driver.php?id=ASACPI.sys

LifeView driver is really hard to find and Windows just puts the wrong driver FlyTV P30+ instead of the needed one. I'll remove the device since I don't use it anyway.
Asus ATK0110 ACPI Utility is the newest version. I guess Asus dropped us there is an update at 22.11.2012 for Windows 8 but it is just repackaging the old Asacpi.sys , they didn't even add a Windows 8 folder, it just installs the one from Windows 7 folder and it is from 15.7.2009 .

Anyway, as a guy with too much time and little patience I reinstalled Windows 8, not refreshed but formatted the partiton and reinstalled. I was using Windows 7 before this one and was having occasional BSODs, posted around. Interesting part is sometimes BSODs just won't cease coming and other times I may go months without seeing any. So I don't think I solved the problem yet.

Driver Verifier needs to run 24 hours minimum.

If no BSODs, Driver Verifier found no driver integrity violations; otherwise D/V will force a BSOD.

Regards. . .

I got no BSODs, but having some random restarts with nothing recorded on Event Log except "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first.", but two of them occurred while I was away.

No record in the Event Viewer logs of a sudden system shutdown points to unknown hardware failure.

No record in the Event Viewer logs of a sudden system shutdown points to unknown hardware failure.
There is something with the electricity lately, I think they are doing a maintenance around here and the voltage fluctuates, can see the light flicker sometimes. But I assume this is nothing more than just a power outage and hope that it hasn't damaged anything. So no BSODs for a while, either format fixed the problem, which I doubt, or it was a hardware problem appearing occasionally and now it has retreated for a while.
You may now mark this Solved since I can't reproduce the same BSODs at the moment.
By the way, this is the last verifier report.

Ok, I removed the Solved tag since the problem resurfaced. After unchecking the automatic restart box on this pic, I can see the computer freeze and not suddenly restart.
nt6CCPG.png
Yet I can't find a related event on the log. I enabled Hibernate before posting the previous and now disabled it assuming it may be the cause. Waiting for a new one to strike but don't know what information I'll get from it. I was browsing the web at the moment of crash if that helps.

The only entry you'll likely find is something similar to "Windows rebooted after a sudden system shutdown".

These freezes are more than likely caused by unknown hardware failure - RAM, mobo, PSU, etc...

Windows is unable to tell us which.

Agreed. Some hardware diagnostics may be able to tell us more. First, please enter your BIOS and post back with your temperature and voltage readouts. Pay special attention to the 12 V, 5 V, and 3.3 V values.

Also, get your temperatures when running Windows.

Please provide your temperatures during idle (when not running any programs and just sitting on the desktop).

Please provide your temperatures during stress (running a game, using hardware diagnostic software, rendering a video, running a full virus scan, etc.).

Use the following programs to monitor the temperatures.

I suspected overheating too but seeing the same restart 5 mins after a cold startup in the morning I dismissed it. I'll check the values and post here.
It seems that Real Temp is incompatible with my CPU.

Temperatures for your processor are dangerously high. Maximum temperature is 70C, but you should not be getting higher than 55 C, maybe 60 C maximum, even under load.

I would recommend cleaning the thermal compound off the processor and heatsink and re-applying. Read the three pages in the link below for more specific instructions.
