Windows 8.1 (nonPro) 64bit - Restarted due to non working MS Office 2016 and now BSOD INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

Are you able to uninstall OneNote ?

FRST Registry Search
  1. Right-click on the file FRST64.exe and choose Run as administrator.
  2. Copy and paste {e0cbf06c-cd8b-4647-bb8a-263b43f0f974} into the Search box and click the Search Registry button.
  3. When the scan is complete, a message will display that 'SearchReg.txt' is saved in the same folder FRST was started from. Notepad will open this file also. Close Notepad and attach the file 'SearchReg.txt' to your next reply.
  4. You may close any remaining open windows now.

It's not wanting to let me uninstall it, I'll try rebooting.

here's the file you asked for though.

Only thing I was able to do with onenote was 'online repair' no idea if that did anything for me, but I can't seem to individually uninstall it - its rolled up in office 2016

Ok. I will have a lot at OneNote later.
Do you use "Acrobat DC" ? If not, uninstall it.

Warning: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Do not run this script on another machine.
  1. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
  2. Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator".
  3. Press the Fix button.
  4. The tool will now process fixlist.txt.
  5. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  6. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
  7. Attach the logfile Fixlog.txt to your next reply.

When I click uninstall it just takes me to the uninstall software, but it does not list adobe DC exactly, it does list Adobe Acrobat though. I do use it, but if it's blocking me from upgrading I can temp uninstall it. I was able to select 'repair' like I did with one note, I am not sure the effect.

Try re-installing Windows 8.1 again.
If it fails attach the file C:\Windows\INF\setupapi.dev.log to your next reply.

Got past that, but still stuck. I don't have the log you asked for, but do have these. Error 32 ironically the same error that keeps me from updating my drivers.

Going to try again with out preserving my driver store (no worries I have full image back up) and see if that gets past things.

Nope, didn't change a thing - I suspect my driver store is fubared. I could just as well replace it with the contents from the install.wim ? I'll wait for your ideas :)

Tried resetting permissions on the driver store, but no joy.

Same error

Run the command pnputil -e > "%USERPROFILE%\desktop\packages.txt" in an elevated commandprompt.
After the command runs there will be a file on your desktop named packages.txt.
Attach this file to your next reply.

on a side note I tried using DriverStoreExplorer and it won't even list my driver store lol

Same error 32 that is haunting me.

Windows 8.1 should support it. Provide a screenshot of the error message.

The text file contained that note instead of the contents. I'm at work now but can get you the exact wording when I get home. There was not code per say just a sentence.
