Copy and paste the following into the command-prompt and hit enter. wmic service get name,displayname,pathname,startmode,exitcode > "%USERPROFILE%\desktop\services.txt" After the command runs there will be a file on your desktop named services.txt. I unintalled Anki Before that, Windows did some kind of an install, not sure if it has fixed things by loading something in. I'll try restarting it again and will update if it is somehow working now.

While it seemed to work for a moment, a couple restarts later and we're back to the same defender issue. 0x80070490 was the error that the troubleshooter found for windows update. Sigh
