My laptop crashes, suddenly, no BSOD, no dmp files created. The only error critical message I can see in event manager says it shut down unexpectedly. First started 8 Apr and removing Kb2930275 seemed to solve it, but with a further update on 19/4 KB2959977 which updated KB2919355 for WSUS the system now seems to crash every half-hour to the second. I haven't yet tried uninstalling that... I don't know if I use WSUS but as a home user with no server I think it's unlikely (though who knows what 8.1 sets up!) Everything else on the laptop seems to work fine. I'm limited as to what tests I can run ie can't run a long memory test due to half-hourly crashes. Also can't run Perfmon - I get the error 'The operator or administrator has refused the request' despite running cmd as administrator. Any thoughts?
