Windows 7 Update not scanning

I'm trying to run my Windows Update but everytime that I click check for updates, the screen flickers for a split second and then nothing happens. I've attached my CBS log. The command prompt states that it found corrupt files but could not repair them. Looking for any help that I can get. Thanks!

Post the log when complete:

C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log
