Hi all,
I wanted to install KB4499164(Monthly Rollup), but Windows needed to reboot.
After reboot, Windows said that failure configuring windows updates and reverting changes.
Then i enter the desktop and get the error code 0x80070057 for Windows update.
How to repair it?

p.s. When i install the KB947821, it was stuck in initializing for a long time.
So i only got the incomplete CBS files.

Hello and welcome!

Due to the precise nature of your corruption, you will receive help from a user named Oh My!. He's one of our senior trainees here who's in his final phase of his studies and needs to gain some real world experience in specific areas of Windows Update. This means that he'll be assisting you, but that I will first need to double check and approve his fixes before he posts them to you. If anything this is a good thing for you because it means that you've got at least two of us watching over your thread, but it will unfortunately add a slight delay between each reply. I hope that you understand and can accept the need for us to train up new members in this way in order to carry on doing what we do here, however, if for any reason you object to this setup, I will happily take on your thread myself.

Thank you very much for your understanding. We'll be with you very shortly.

Yesterday i ran SFCFix.exe in auto analysis mode, and it fix about 150000 problems.
But there are still 9800 problems which can not be fixed.
The following are the newest logs.

to Sysnative's Windows Update Forum.

My name is Oh My! and I am here to help you! Feel free to call me Gary if you wish. If you would allow me to call you by your first name I would prefer to do that.

Now that I am assisting you, you can expect that I will be very responsive to your situation. If you are able, I would request you check this thread at least once per day so that we can try to resolve your issues effectively and efficiently. If you are going to be delayed please be considerate and let me know.

Thank you for your patience thus far.

Please allow me some additional time to evaluate the newly posted information.

p.s.
the log with several error
(f) CSI Missing Deployment Key, and (f) CSI C Mark Deployment Missing.
I already installed the May rollup fix(KB4499164) successfully, but now i can not install KB2984972 with the error 80070BC9.

Greetings.

So far you are making some good progress and that is perfectly fine with me. However, when you post a log(s) it requires analysis and effort to put together a step to address some of the issues. When you take independent steps in the meantime it then makes my analysis and effort one step behind necessitating starting all over to address the current state of your computer.

I would like to handle this one of 2 ways and this is completely up to you. You can post the requested logs and await further instructions or I can simply monitor your efforts/posts until you are stuck and need additional assistance. It really doesn't matter to me, it is what is most convenient for you. I realize awaiting a response can be an inconvenience.

Before I post any instructions please let me know what you prefer.

Thanks for the reply.

Please do this.

Sorry, I failed to attach the SFCFix.txt file. It is now posted.

Are you able to right click on the link, select Save Link As... and save it to your desktop?

I drag the SFCFix.txt to SFCFix.exe, but it produce an empty Components.zip

I just reboot and then it works.
