[SOLVED] Windows 7 to windows 10 update fail

Hello, I found your site and instructions via google searches after various failed attempts to update to windows 10. I got the error code "0x8007001F - 0x20006 The installation was not successful. Error in Phase SAFE_OS during REPLICATE_OC."

After the first failed attetmpt at updating i discovered that my version of windows 7 was not legit and have since had "copy of windows is not genuine" displayed in the corners of my screen. During my second attempt to update after buying a licence for windows 10 which was accepted in the update application i got further into the process before eventually getting a failed upgrade and the same message.

Is Avast still installed and if so which version ?

No i have now uninstalled Avast. Also i tried again to install windows 10 after following all your tutorial and sending the logs over to you and i can now happily report that i am sending this message to you from my pc running windows 10 . Thank you for you help.
