[SOLVED] Windows 7 to Windows 10 Update Error - 0x8007001F - 0x20006

Hi there!

First time posting so hopefully I'm posting in the right place lol...
I see there are other people on here with exactly the same issue as me (eg: Post dated 02/04/22 [SOLVED] Windows 7 to Windows 10 Error 0x8007001F 0x20006)


I'm trying to install Windows 10 onto my Parents computer which is currently running Windows 7.
Unfortunately; the following Error appears during installation:



We Couldn't Install Windows 10
We've set your PC back to the way it was right before you started installing Windows 10.

0x8007001F - 0x20006
The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during REPLICATE_OC operation



I'm hopeful someone out there would be kind enough to assist?

Attach the file C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log to your next reply.

Hi Peter,
We've since done a automatic deep scan of the computer and it worked! As a result, we were able to upload Windows 10 without a hitch. Thanks for reaching out, I will mark as this solved.
