Hi @testere123,

Welcome to Sysnative Forums!

If you haven't already, please review the posting instructions here, and attach the requested log files. Without log files, our helpers will not be able to assist, and this will slow down fixing your machine.

If logs have been already been provided, our team of volunteers will analyse the provided log files to build a fix for your system. Please be aware that this may take several days from your initial post, due to the high volume of threads that we receive.

Great. The log looks good.

Restart the machine.
Try to run the command sfc /scannow in an elevated commandprompt and report the result.
If it fails, copy the file C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\cbs.log to your desktop.
Zip the copied file and attach the zipped cbs.log to your next reply.

thanks i ran it and said it didnt find any corruptions but i now have another problem
as before i said i cant run most of the apps:

0xc0000005
so i mean is there any way to fix this with the sfcfix tool or not because i looked online and most of them say to make updates update redist etc i've done all of these but still doesnt work

Great that the sfc scan found no corruptions.
To investigate the 0xc0000005 issue please do following.

FRST Scan:
  1. Download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop:
64-bit: Downloading Farbar Recovery Scan Tool
Note: Your antivirus program may report FRST incorrectly as an infection. If so, disable the real-time protection when downloading and running FRST.
  2. Right-click to run the tool as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  3. Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area.
  4. Press the Scan button.
  5. Please wait for the tool to finish. It will produce two logfiles called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should be the desktop)
  6. Post the logfiles FRST.txt and Addition.txt as attachment in your next reply.

Alright, I ran the tool, here are the logs:

By the way, I ran it with the all scans possible and I didn't check any box at the bottom section except for the "Addition.txt" option.

Again, thank you.

Step 1:
Download the AVG Remover.
Note: Disable the realtime protection of your antivirus program first.
Doubleclick the tool AVG_Remover.exe and click Continue.
The tool will scan your machine for AVG products and show them in a list.
Select the found product and allow the tool to remove it.
Follow the instructions that appear and restart the machine when being asked.

Step 2:
Download avastclear.exe to your desktop.
Right-click the downloaded file and select Run as administrator.
Click Yes to restart the machine in "Safe mode".
Click the green button Uninstall.
Follow the instructions that appear.
Restart when completed.

Step 3:
Warning: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Do not run this script on another machine.
  1. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
  2. Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator".
  3. Press the Fix button.
  4. The tool will now process fixlist.txt.
  5. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  6. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
  7. Attach the logfile Fixlog.txt to your next reply.

Hey, unfortunately seems like the tool links you gave doesn't download anything. (The AVG and Avast tools)

Anyway, I was just able to complete the 3rd step, so here's the fix log:

(And by the way I looked online for the solutions for 0xc000005 and they said to remove some kb updates so I also did that I don't know it will cause issues for the later fixes you'll suggest me or not.)

Thanks.

Hey, unfortunately seems like the tool links you gave doesn't download anything. (The AVG and Avast tools)
I checked them before posting. They still work here.
Maybe the browser you are using, Brave or Opera, doesn't allow it.
Google Chrome, which is installed on your computer, does download them here so please try Google Chrome first.
If it still doesn't work use another machine to download the AVG and Avast removal tool.

(And by the way I looked online for the solutions for 0xc000005 and they said to remove some kb updates so I also did that I don't know it will cause issues for the later fixes you'll suggest me or not.)
Which updates did you uninstall and did that fix the 0xc0000005 error ?

Attach the file C:\Users\Maxel\Desktop\07.06.2025_21.41.21.zip to your next reply.

Hey there, seems like the tool links doesn't work on that machine for some reason and didn't worked on the others either.
And the removing KB updates didn't fix the error 0xc0000005.

I followed these KB ones including:
wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:2859537
wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:2872339
wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:2882822 this one said it was installed and said are you sure you want to remove it the other ones said it's not installed on the computer. I found these lists at: 0xc0000005 Error Please help.

And by the way, should I try to install the avg/avast removal tools from online? Because I already tried on this machine on Chrome.

I tried so many possible ways including: (for 0xc)
- Using the run this program as administrator.
- Run this in compatiblity mode. (Windows 7)
- The SFC scans.
- Removing updates.

Seems like none of those worked out to fix.

Fo some reason I cannot download the attachment.
Please upload the file C:\Users\Maxel\Desktop\07.06.2025_21.41.21.zip to a file sharing website like Gofile and provide the downloadlink in your next reply.
