What does this mean exactly?
From the BSOD app - your Windows OS drive is
drive E: ?
Code:
AutoReboot=TRUE
Caption=
DebugFilePath=%SystemRoot%\MEMORY.DMP
DebugInfoType=2
Description=
ExpandedDebugFilePath=E:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP
ExpandedMiniDumpDirectory=E:\Windows\Minidump
KernelDumpOnly=FALSE
MiniDumpDirectory=%SystemRoot%\Minidump
Name=Microsoft Windows 7 Professional |E:\Windows|\Device\Harddisk1\Partition1
OverwriteExistingDebugFile=TRUE
SendAdminAlert=FALSE
SettingID=
WriteDebugInfo=TRUE
WriteToSystemLog=TRUE
Your allocated page files - 1st line of each -
AllocatedBaseSize - is the initial allocation size in bytes -
Code:
AllocatedBaseSize=31692
Caption=C:\pagefile.sys
CurrentUsage=0
Description=C:\pagefile.sys
InstallDate=20210508233942.122519-300
Name=C:\pagefile.sys
PeakUsage=0
Status=
TempPageFile=FALSE
AllocatedBaseSize=32713
Caption=D:\pagefile.sys
CurrentUsage=0
Description=D:\pagefile.sys
InstallDate=20210508153233.746267-300
Name=D:\pagefile.sys
PeakUsage=0
Status=
TempPageFile=FALSE
AllocatedBaseSize=32713
Caption=E:\pagefile.sys
CurrentUsage=0
Description=E:\pagefile.sys
InstallDate=20210402085526.050099-300
Name=E:\pagefile.sys
PeakUsage=0
Status=
TempPageFile=FALSE
AllocatedBaseSize=32713
Caption=F:\pagefile.sys
CurrentUsage=0
Description=F:\pagefile.sys
InstallDate=20210510230745.516132-300
Name=F:\pagefile.sys
PeakUsage=0
Status=
TempPageFile=FALSE
AllocatedBaseSize=32713
Caption=G:\pagefile.sys
CurrentUsage=0
Description=G:\pagefile.sys
InstallDate=20210508233942.919564-300
Name=G:\pagefile.sys
PeakUsage=0
Status=
TempPageFile=FALSE
But then, each drive shows a temporary page file with a min/max size of zero bytes -
Code:
Caption=c:\ 'pagefile.sys'
Description='pagefile.sys' @ c:\
InitialSize=0
MaximumSize=0
Name=c:\pagefile.sys
SettingID=pagefile.sys @ c:
Caption=d:\ 'pagefile.sys'
Description='pagefile.sys' @ d:\
InitialSize=0
MaximumSize=0
Name=d:\pagefile.sys
SettingID=pagefile.sys @ d:
Caption=e:\ 'pagefile.sys'
Description='pagefile.sys' @ e:\
InitialSize=0
MaximumSize=0
Name=e:\pagefile.sys
SettingID=pagefile.sys @ e:
Caption=f:\ 'pagefile.sys'
Description='pagefile.sys' @ f:\
InitialSize=0
MaximumSize=0
Name=f:\pagefile.sys
SettingID=pagefile.sys @ f:
Caption=g:\ 'pagefile.sys'
Description='pagefile.sys' @ g:\
InitialSize=0
MaximumSize=0
Name=g:\pagefile.sys
SettingID=pagefile.sys @ g:
So, it is likely that when you get the error message about no/low virtual memory - it is absolutely true. But I have no idea why Windows would be deleting your allocated page files then creating empty ones.
