Hi there, I'm new to this here. I'm experiencing problems with my lenovo desktop computer I still regularly use.
It occasionally crashes and shows bluescreen and I can't acces a network neither via Wifi or LAN connection. The network works fine with all the other devices I use.
After several scans I ran via sfc /scannow, I switched to the use of this tool SFCFix and here is the logfile it created:

It is a Windows 7 professional retail copy, I purchased the operating system together with the computer several years ago.
In case anyone is wondering, I am currently using my Windows 10 Dell laptop to access the internet and post this entry
I would like to know if I can find some advice over here how to fix these issues.
Sorry if my english sounds a bit weird, that's probably because I'm German.
Thanks a lot, howmenare✌🙂

Hello and welcome,

I moved your thread to this forum section as that seems to fit the problem better.

Follow the instructions below to run a scan with the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) and provide a log.
  1. Download SURT for your system. (Windows 7 SP1 x64)
  2. Once downloaded, execute the installer, and go through the installation (this process can take around 15-20 minutes).
  3. On completion, a log will be created in C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log.
  4. Attach this log to your next reply.
Alternatively, if these instructions are unclear for you, you can follow the tutorial below.
System Update Readiness Tool (SURT)

Hi again and thanks a lot for the help. I downloaded and installed the application. The installation worked on the third attempt. I took a peek at the log file, but It looks like a big mess to me. I'm anxious to see what you make of this. If you need any additional information, please let me know.
Thanks again, howmenare✌🙂

The fix in step 1 failed.

Step 1:
Warning: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Do not run this script on another machine.
  1. Download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop:
64-bit: Downloading Farbar Recovery Scan Tool
Note: Your antivirus program may report FRST incorrectly as an infection. If so, disable the real-time protection when downloading and running FRST.
  2. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
  3. Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator".
  4. Press the Fix button.
  5. The tool will now process fixlist.txt.
  6. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  7. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
  8. Attach the logfile Fixlog.txt to your next reply.

Step 2:
Start the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) again.
On completion, attach the logfile C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log to your next reply.

Because of the many difficulties during the repair, I came up with the idea of testing the hardware and ran a "MemTest" and a lot of errors were displayed within the first few seconds. I had originally assumed that the hardware was ready for use because after booting from a Linux live CD the system and the network connection worked without any issues. I will now test the system with a new RAM module. If I have one available and it shows improvements, I will report back here. Thank you very much for your efforts, I really appreciate it.
Thanks a lot, howmenare ✌🙂

Something is wrong with the permissions for the broken registry key.
Follow the instructions below. If anything is unclear, just ask first.

Click Start typ regedit in the searchbox and press enter.
Allow the program to run.
"Registry-editor" will open. On the leftside browse to the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing\Packages\Package_656_for_KB4467107~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.11

Rightclick on it and select Permissions.
A new window opens, click the button Advanced.
A new window opens, select tab Owner.
Put a checkmark at Replace owner on subcontainers and objects
Select Administrators (...) then click Apply and OK.
In the list "Group or user names" select Administrators (...).
Next, put a checkmark to allow "Full Control" and click OK.

If above went successful perform the instructions in message #10 again.

I actually think, this time it worked. It took three attempts and a restart to get SURT running and installing. Files are attached. It's 1 AM in Germany, over and out.
Thanks again, howmenare ✌

It's 1 AM in Germany, over and out.
No problem. No need to hurry. Perform the instructions when it suits you.

Great. The tool SURT already fixed another issue.

Reboot the machine.
Start the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) again.
On completion, attach the logfile C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log to your next reply.

Great. The log is clean.

Open an elevated command prompt.
Copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each.

Code:
sfc /scannow
Wait for this to finish before you continue

Code:
copy %windir%\Logs\CBS\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Zip this file and attach the zipped cbs.txt to your next post.

The sfc /scannow process took 3 attempts to complete. The first attempt reached 48%, the second attempt reached 71%, the third attempt was completed.
It says: "Resource protection found no integrity violation"
But the second code did not work, it says "The system can not find the path specified"
I attached the screenshot, sorry but of course it is in German ✌

Thanks for the screenshot, I can read German text.
You missed a character, see the red character below. That's why I recommended a copy and paste.
copy %windir%\Logs\CBS\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"

Oh, I see, sorry, that happens when the fingers work faster than the brain does. This time the scan allegedly found something and repaired it.✌
