Windows 7 64bit - March Monthly Rollup KB4489878 - failed to install with Error code 80073712

I read better "posting instructions", maybe my previus topic was not in compliance with that.

As described in subject, I can't install March Monthly Rollup update (KB4489878).
It returns error code: 80073712.

If I hide that update, windows update finds previous Monthly Rollup, the one of February, but this fails to install too.
And so on, I hid all Monhlty Rollups back to April 2018 after fail to install all them: now Windows Update doesn't complain anymore, I can regularly install MSE definitions updates for instance.
Anyway I think It will not be possible to install the next Monthly Rollup of April on this system.

Ok, now I followed the instructions:

SFC scan (sfc /scannow) did not find any integrity violations
SURT (Windows6.1-KB947821-v34-x64.msu) says just "Installation Complete"
SFCFix.exe returns "13 SURT corruption detected", the other summary entries are "zero". So nothing can be automatically repaired (log file in attachment)

Hello and welcome!

FRST Registry Search
1. Click your Start button and choose Control Panel.
2. In the upper right corner ensure the View by: is set to Category.
3. Select the Programs group.
4. Click the Turn Windows features on or off link. This will bring up the Windows Features dialog. Wait until this dialog populates with information. If this does not happen for some reason, please continue with the steps anyway.
Note: This loads your components hive which is what we want. Please keep this dialog open while you perform the remaining steps.
5. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
6. Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
7. Copy and paste KB3123862;KB3035583 into the Search box and click the Search Registry button.
8. When the scan is complete a notepad window will open with the results. Please attach this to your next reply. It is saved on your desktop named SearchReg.txt.
9. You may close any remaining open windows now.

Step#1 - FRST Fix
NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system
1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Download attached file and save it to the Desktop.
Note. It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work (in this case...the desktop).

Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
When finished FRST64 will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please post the contents of it in your reply.

Done, I run it from a Desktop subdir, anyway both FRST64.exe and Fixlist.txt were in the same dir...

Retrieve Components Hive
1. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Config and locate the COMPONENTS file.
2. Please copy this file to your desktop.
Note: If you receive an error that this file is in-use, simply reboot your computer and try again.
3. Right-click on this file on your desktop and select Send To...Compressed (zipped) folder. This will create a file named COMPONENTS.ZIP on your desktop.
4. The file will likely be too large to upload here so please upload to a file sharing service and just provide the link here.

Is KB3126587 installed?

Yes I verified: downloaded it from there:
Download Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3126587) from Official Microsoft Download Center

Then tried to install it, but it returns "already installed on computer".
Moreover in "control panel-programs-programs&features-installed updates", I find KB3126587 as installed on the pc about three years ago: "16/02/2016"

Install Update with DISM

Download this update and save to your desktop. The file name will be Windows6.1-KB3126587-x64.cab.zip.
Right-click on this file and select Extract All... Click the Extract button. You can close the folder window that opens
Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator. Go ahead and allow if you receive the UAC prompt.
Copy and paste the following command into the command prompt window and press enter.

dism /online /add-package /packagepath:%userprofile%\desktop\Windows6.1-KB3126587-x64.cab
You should receive the message:
The operation completed successfully.
Restart Windows to complete this operation. <---You may not get this line.
Do you want to restart the computer now (Y/N)? <---You may not get this line.

Go ahead and do so if prompted. Let me know what errors if any come up. If you do get errors, please zip/attach your CBS.log

After successful run I restarted the pc as you can see in the last command..

Tryed to run windows update, it noticed the same two updates but it fails as previos times:

KB4489878 (returns error code 80073712)
KB4054529 (returns error code 643)

What language pack is installed?

I don't know where exactly it is shown...
In "installed updates" section I find Internet Explorer 11 it-IT Language Pack.
Which package exactly did you refer to?

Anyway my system is localized in Italian language
