I have a PC running Windows 11 Pro (24H2) and when I ran Windows Update, about a month ago, I got a “Something didn’t go as planned. Undoing changes.” message and the updates were reversed.
I put Windows Update on pause for a few weeks in the hope MS would have provided a fix. Today, I went to Windows Update and found the following:-

I proceeded to install, which took about an hour.
When I restarted, I firstly got this message (which I’d not seen before):-

Then there were several restarts and the below message was displayed three times, after which it proceeded to my desktop

I’ve put Windows Update on pause again. However, I am still getting a message that I need to run a repair install (which I’ve just tried to do but failed)

I’ve also run sfc and found no issues.
I am experiencing a similar Update Failure issue with my laptop (same windows version) which deteriorated in that it now won’t even boot and goes to BSOD (win32k.sys). Reference is Update Failure & Bluescreen
