I really hope, there is help for me here... this site has amazing info.
I think I had a bodged malware infection. I uninstalled a lot of apps that were installed in an instant, but I pulled the Network cable. After uninstalling all those and running Malware Bytes. My system started acting up. SFC takes about an hour to run. With a "
Verification 100% complete. Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation." Weird is in Safe it runs with a "no corruption" report. I tried the SFCFix from here, but that just gets stuck at, Checking store Directories...
I can't access the event viewer. It opens and then just takes ages before the NOT responding goes away, if I click something in the list, it just happens again. I cannot update Windows anymore. Installs get stuck at different percentages. I did try the in-place upgrade, but that got stuck at 37%.
I have done all of it. Dism, CHKDSK, start and stop of Services, etc. So I really tried to do it on my own, but now I need help... By looking at the other reports here I did the SFCFix.zip, see attached.
Everything reacts really, really slow...

I have exhausted all fixes before I asked for help here. I have done the whole stint with checking Malware with the MediCat USB. But currently, I'm stuck at the welcome screen with no access to my keyboard and mouse. I cannot get to safe mode either without the use of my keyboard or mouse. So I have been locked out... :-(

Hi, Piscabo.

Let's try to boot to Recovery Environment.

Enter System Recovery Options
  • Start by shutting down your computer.
  • Press on the power button on the case to turn it on.
  • After the computer is about 3 - 5 seconds into the boot-up process, hold down the power button to shut down the computer.
  • Repeat the above process once again.
  • For the third time, turn on the computer and allow it to boot up.
  • If you completed the process correctly, a message saying Preparing Automatic Repair should appear.
  • In a few seconds, another message will appear stating Diagnosing your PC and Automatic Repair will open.
  • When you reach the Automatic Repair screen, click on Advanced Options.
  • At the next screen, select Troubleshoot.
  • When you see the next screen, select Advanced Options.
  • You will get the following options:
    • Startup Repair
    • Startup Settings
    • Command Prompt
    • Uninstall Updates
    • System Restore
    • System Image Recovery
  • Let me know if you were able to reach this screen.

Do you still need assistance?
