So my Windows won't update since last summer (as I recall), tried a lot of thing, nothing works
It downloads fine, then I reboot pc to install it, first it goes slow, reboots at 30%, then it goes fast to 90% then slow again, then at 98% it says «We couldn't complete the updates. Undoing changes» and it reverses them.
0x800f0922 - the error which it shows me sometimes (not consistently, most of the time not) after I go to Windows update after it reverses changes.

Hi @PIRO,

Welcome to Sysnative Forums!

If you haven't already, please review the posting instructions here, and attach the requested log files. Without log files, our helpers will not be able to assist, and this will slow down fixing your machine.

If logs have been already been provided, our team of volunteers will analyse the provided log files to build a fix for your system. Please be aware that this may take several days from your initial post, due to the high volume of threads that we receive.

Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

Download the

Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop:

Download the 64 bit version: - Farbar Recovery Scan Tool Link

Warning: This script was written specifically for this system. Do not run this script on another system.

  • Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
  • Right-click on FRST.exe and select "Run as administrator".
  • Press the Fix button.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally.
  • When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
  • Post the logfile Fixlog.txt as attachment in your next reply.

Hi, I'm feeling dumb, but how do I download attachment fixlist.txt?

Sorry, I've posted the wrong 'canned speech' / instructions.

Download the

Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop:

Download the 64 bit version: - Farbar Recovery Scan Tool Link
  • Note: Your antivirus program may report FRST incorrectly as an infection. If so, disable the real-time protection when downloading and running FRST.
  • Right-click to run the tool as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area.
  • Press the Scan button.
  • Please wait for the tool to finish. It will produce two logfiles called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should be the desktop)
  • Post the logfiles FRST.txt and Addition.txt as attachment in your next reply.

Hi,

it seems you are using an illegal (tweaked) version of Windows 10 pro. Please open an elevated prompt, run the following command and take a screenshot of the vbs-window that will appear.
Code:
slmgr /dlv

This is not a legal (OEM) license, but a (KMS) key: W269N-WFGWX-YVC9B-4J6C9-T83GX for Windows 10 Pro.

1. So I would suggest to a buy a legal license and reinstall the system, this because this version is also tweaked / modified by that crack-team!
2. You're hardware (12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400F) supports Windows 11, so I would buy that license because the support for Windows 10 will also end this year.

You're welcome! But unfortunately we do not offer help with illegal and modified builds. And personally, I am also not in favour of reactivating such (tweaked) builds with a legal license because we don't know which modifications have been applied to the Windows Image. So I can only suggest to rebuild this system with a legal license for Windows 11 to be safe in the future.
