Hello to all experts. Until now I have tried the following tools:
dism.exe /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /CHECKHEALTH
dism.exe /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /RESTOREHEALTH
dism.exe /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /SCANHEALTH
dism.exe /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /StartComponentCleanup
sfc/scannow
chkdsk /c /r /f /x

The only hints I found in the CBS log:
Cannot repair member file [l:34]'Microsoft.Build.Utilities.v4.0.dll'
and the wrpint.dll was missing, which I figured out to be very important for load and repair of damaged files ??
I tried to get wrpint.dll from dllme.com and stored it to Windows/system32 -> without success
I tried to run sfcfix.exe, which stalled after startup

Please could you have a look into the two attached log files of DISM and SFC, perhaps you can see the root cause of the problem.

Thanks in advance for your effort

Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

Upload your COMPONENTS hive.
  • Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Config and locate the COMPONENTS file.
  • Please copy this file to your desktop.
  • Note: If you receive an error that this file is in-use, simply reboot your computer and try again.
  • Right-click on this file on your desktop and select Send To > Compressed (zipped) folder. This will create a file named COMPONENTS.ZIP on your desktop.
  • If the file is too large to upload here, upload the file to www.wetransfer.com and post the link in your next reply.

Hi,

Step 1. Download

SFCFix and save it to your desktop.

Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.
  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the System File Checker and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
Code:
SFC /Scannow

Hello Maxstar,

your SFCFix worked perfect! After running your Fix, the "SFC /Scannow" stated that there is no Integrity error any more!

Thanks a lot for your HELP :-)

Unfortunately my computer had a BSOD last night. Maybe it had the same reason as the SFC problem?
I have attached the sysnativeFileCollection. Could you make a check, wether the two problems are correlated?

Hi,

You're welcome. I am not a BSOD expert but a memory problem could be a possible cause, and yes this may cause corrupted files.

So I would suggest to start a new thread in the BSOD section: BSOD Crashes, Kernel Debugging

Hello Maxstar,

thanks a lot for your help i will set this thread to solved and try my luck in the BSOD section.
Bye!

Hi,
