Tazfreak Well-known member Joined Dec 7, 2019 Posts 120 Dec 15, 2019 #215 how do I get into safe mode if I can't get into Windows?
Tazfreak Well-known member Joined Dec 7, 2019 Posts 120 Dec 15, 2019 #216 I powered off during startup a couple times and it booted into repair mode which is now using Windows Defender to scan it. I am not sure if that is the same as safe mode

Tazfreak Well-known member Joined Dec 7, 2019 Posts 120 Dec 20, 2019 #219 I was able to fix the keyboard issue. The problem was because of the Asus programs that I uninstalled since they were used to install the bios. The needed to stay installed until the chipset was updated. Update is still having the same issue after all of this hassle. It seems to be more related to the hard drive and Asus than all of these drivers and other items I had been disconnecting/uninstalling.
