Running Windows 10 Home, Version 1803, OS Build 17134.765; Update to 1809 has failed 4 times. I have searched the problem on various forums and tried a couple of recommended solutions, which all failed. The update has taken overnight to run and in the final stages either fails to restart or aborts and reverts to the 1803 version. I ran sfc /scannow and am attaching the log. Results show corruption in 'OneDrive.lnk' of Microsoft-Windows-OneDrive-Setup. Per your forum instructions, I skipped step 3 and ran SFCfix which encountered an unhandled exception. I have also attached a text file with those results.

Would uninstalling and reinstalling OneDrive be a soultion to this problem? I appreciate any assistance you can provide. LouieG614

Thank you for your assistance. I can see that your forum is swamped with requests and proceeded with some more research on my end utilizing your forum guidelines. Just before I got your message I had finally resolved all corruption errors. I ran a final check the day you responded and then used the Windows Update Assistant and successfully updated to version 1903. Talking with friends I found I was not the only person who was simultaneously getting "your software is up-to-date" messages when checking for updates, immediately followed by a warning that I needed to update to the latest version before 1803 was no longer supported. I have since updated laptops for two friends in the same situation. When I have the where withal I will send money to support your work. I sincerely appreciate the assistance and give you kudos for the great work that you do.
