Windows 10 registry broken, can't boot up or use DISM to repair

For the past day Windows 10 does not boot up at all for me, I get this error:

When I try to use sfc /scannow is startup repair I get an error saying: "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation." When I try to use dism with a media installation USB I get this:

I don't know what else to do at this point, and I can't afford to clean install my OS. I've attached several log files, I don't know what to make of them.

Attached the repaired copy of your SYSTEM hive, please rename the current SYSTEM hive to SYSTEM.bad and copy the attached hive into X:\Windows\System32\Config using the recovery environment.

Hi I have done this and I get this error now after dism completes:

"Error: 0x800f081f

The source files could not be found."

The ISO on the USB I am using is from Microsoft's website and I put in the correct index number for my edition of Windows, I directed the /source command to sources/install.esd correctly. The process does complete up to 100% before showing the error.

Upload a copy of the CBS folder
  • Open Windows Explorer and browse to the C:\Windows\Logs folder.
  • Right-click on the CBS folder and choose Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
  • Now the message will appear, "Windows cannot create the Compressed (zipped) Folder here. Do you want it to be placed on the desktop instead?"
  • Click on the Yes button here.

Have you run DISM from the recovery environment or when the system was started normally into Windows?
I just get the loading animation (dotted circle) when I try to start Windows until there's nothing but a blank screen, no errors or anything. Safe-mode appears to just remain in a blank screen when entering it too.

It said "/online" wasn't supported in PE mode, so I used "/image" instead, the operation completed successfully but I still just get a long loading animation then a blank screen.
 
Hmm, then I would suggest to image the current system drive so you will have a complete backup of the current state of the system. And then perform a cloud reset with the option keep my files etc...

Unfortunately I don't have the space to backup right now. Is there anything in this bootlog that shows what's wrong? I see a few things that don't load, but I'm not sure if that's normal or not.

I don't see anything strange in the ntbtlog.txt, so I would suggest to buy an external drive to make a backup and then perform the cloud reset. I guess you don't have any recent backups either?

Is it possible some of these other files in "system32/config" are corrupt?
