Windows 10 freezes

Windows 10 stops responding to mouse and key board. Only way to get it going again is to unplug it then plug it back and restart.
Not BOSD what is on screen stays on but will not respond.

Sometimes replacing the CMOS battery cures this. For further help, we would at least need to know if it's a laptop or PC and some hardware specs.
