[SOLVED] Win7 - Some updates fail to install KB3146706, KB3149090, KB3147071, KB3156417, KB315

Hello,

i have some problems installing 3 updates on my computer, maybe somebody could help me?

Here are the facts:

Windows 7 64-bit professional (German language) (Member of an AD-Domain, run by Windows Server 2012R2)
Updates are being deployed via WSUS for 9 Win7 computers in the domain.
Updates that are not being installed: KB3146706, KB3149090, KB3147071 (since April 14th), now also KB3156417 and KB3153171 provide an error when trying to install. ('installation unsuccessfull' in the Windows Update History. Maybe the words are a bit different in English)

My PC is the only one with this update problems, all other computers run fine.
I also tried to install KB3146706, KB3149090, KB3147071 manually, but that did not work either.

I ran SFCFix, with the following results:

SFCFix version 3.0.0.0 by niemiro.

My name is Aura and I'll be assisting you with your issue. Before we continue I must ask you are you allowed to request external assistance for this issue? Since the computers are on a domain, and the updates are deployed via WSUS, I imagine that these aren't personal computers, but company computers. I just want to make sure that we're all good here before I assist you :)

thanks for your reply. As I am the network admin, I allowed myself to ask for external help
Shame on me, that I could not solve the problem on my own... ;-)
I have Domain Admin rights (if neccessary) and WSUS was configured by me, so we should have access to all.

That's fine with me, I just needed a confirmation :) Let's start by getting a CheckSUR.log. Follow the instructions below please.

System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) - Scan
Follow the instructions below to run a scan with the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) and provide a log;

• Download the right version of SURT for your system;
  • Your version of Windows is: Windows 7 SP x64
• Once downloaded, execute the installer, and go throught the installation (this process can take around 15-20 minutes);
• On completion, a log will be created in C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log;
• Attach this log in your next reply;

Alternatively, if these instructions are unclear for you, you can follow the tutorial below.

I used SURT, it reported 8 errors found and 8 errors fixed. After that, the 5 updates were installed without any error.
