escorial Well-known member Joined May 6, 2020 Posts 272 May 6, 2020 #1 Hi, Hope Im starting in the correct area, since the PC was new about 3 mo now ( nought a new old stock one with Win 7 Pro installed) I have never been able to get the scannow to pass. I also use acronis backup and on one of my older pc's the Acronis could never verify a backup because of the failed scan now. But this new pc the Acronis does verify after doing a backup which makes me think could this SFC?SCANNOW actually show false or incorrect results??? I have attached a report from your software perhaps someone could tell me what or how to fix this? All in all the PC seems to be running just fine, also I do hae Zone Alarm Extreme Security and Malwarebytes Premium and these are both always kept up to date and scans are done daily. Download the file SFCFix.zip and save it on your desktop. Save any work you have open, and close all programs. Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it. SFCFix will launch, let it complete. Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt. Open the file, then copy and paste its content in your next reply.

Wish this site was around last year as I retired pc that would not pass the scannow as well as the Acronis backup. Im going to run the program in that pc next. Before I do that can I just copy the zip and exe file from this pd to a usb drive and install it on the other pc or should I start fresh. Yes iw ill be donating!!!
