Hello,

Windows Update appears to be able to find updates and install them, except for KB4467107, which has been retried a number of times, each resulting in an 8000FFFF error.

Per the Windows Update Forum Posting Instructions: an SFC scan was run, showing no issues; SURT was installed without problems; SFCFix was run, indicating no CBS/SFC problems, but a 101 total SURT corruption count (no unimportant problems, and no fixed problems). Here is a link to the 106MB CBS.zip file:

Thanks - After installing KB3177467, KB4467107 has now finally installed!

Could you give me an idea of what the problem was, and what KB3177467 did? Can/should SFC, and/or SURT, and/or SFCFix be run again to ensure no outstanding issues?

No, this was merely a missing update. You needed this for your system to update your Windows Update Components to the latest version which allowed the latest updates to be installed.
