I have attemptedseveral time to load KB4019472 to my Lenovo T400s laptop running Win10 Home. It ends with the error 0x800705b4.

I looked on theinternet for a solution. I found unchecking “Give me updates forother Windows products when I update Windows” in Windows Update,Advanced Options. It was not chacked when I looked there.

I tried doing the“clean boot” method. On the Services tab I disabled all of thenon Microsoft services. On the Startup tab I disabled the two thatwere there. When I rebooted I tried the update again and got thesame error. I looked at the Services tab again to see if they wereturned off. The two related to Avast software, aswbIDSAgent andAVAST Antivirus were turned on. I have tried to get these turned offbut have not been successful. I get them to turn off but they are onwhen I reboot.

I have run theupdate troubleshooter but that did not find anything.

I have run SFCFixand pasted the results below. The final line says “The operationcompleted successfully.” so I clicked Retry on Windows Updateagain but I got the same error.

Thanks for yourhelp.

That was too simple.

I uninstalled Avast. It wanted to restart. I choose Update and Restart. It installed KB4019472 and one other update successfully.

Thanks for your help
