K kevwal Member Joined Nov 22, 2019 Posts 14 Dec 3, 2019 #27 The drive is an EVO 850, so have installed Samsung Magician, which recons a health of good and an original genuine samsung drive. It isn't able to do a diagnostic scan as it is not supoprted for that model apparently. AHCI mode was not activated, but it has now activated it.
