Hi,
My PC began becoming less and less stable since the install of the May Update.
I'm getting random BSOD errors, mostly around invalid Memory usage about twice a day.
In investigating this I followed advice on other forums, even attempted a reset but all to no avail.
The corruption reported on SFC and DISM seems to be blocking any other attempt at recovery. Here's the Message in DISM:

Code:
Error: 582

An illegal character was encountered. For a multi-byte character set this includes a lead byte without a succeeding trail byte. For the Unicode character set this includes the characters 0xFFFF and 0xFFFE.

running SFCFix gave me this:

Code:
SFCFix version 3.0.2.1 by niemiro.
Start time: 2020-08-13 17:19:58.799
Microsoft Windows 10 Build 19041 - amd64
Not using a script file.

AutoAnalysis::
SUMMARY: No corruptions were detected.
AutoAnalysis:: directive completed successfully.

Successfully processed all directives.
SFCFix version 3.0.2.1 by niemiro has completed.
Currently storing 0 datablocks.
Finish time: 2020-08-13 17:30:51.260
----------------------EOF-----------------------

(I had to press a key to get the scan to go past the DISM check after it errored.)
But the DISM error still happens.
I've attached the CBS folder as per instructions.

Please help!
Many thanks,
flashley.
