You can't eliminate this possibility I have to say... You can't force something on people that don't like it to begin with. MetroUI is nice, but the functionality of Windows 8 i'm still debating in my head. I've talked with several other co-workers and IT's and they all kind of have to think about it as well. The tileview, no startbutton, more integrated/jammed tools and buttons in explorer... I don't think these are strong points.
I thought the developer's preview was good, start menu still there, nice task manager to look at for the very first time, however I disabled the Metro tileview, everything else was looking good. Now they have some cool new features, HyperV, Encrypting filesystem... But all these high points will probably be marked down a bit by balancing out the other potential negatives. Making Windows 8 less desireable. For me, Windows 8 would be PERFECT to have on a Phone or some small device like this. For a desktop computer though, I question that.
I'll just sit back and watch to see how things play out though. People have been downloading it, but where's the true feedback from it?
