Is your network secured with WEP (equivalent to a No Security at all) or not secured at all? That is a big No...No...sorry to say this. Your bandwidth is kind of low too. :grin1:
According from Nintendo site:
The Wii Console is compatible with the following Wireless Security standards:WEP WPA WPA-PSK (TKIP) WPA-PSK (AES) WPA2-PSK (AES) <=== :thumbsup2:
Thanks for the additional info. provided John. That must have been the issue why Wii was hacked, sorry about that.
Most of your nearby Wi-Fi neighbors are using WPA and WPA2. FYI....Windows 7 works so well with WPA2-AES encryption.
Can you change the network security to WPA2 if your wireless router and wireless devices can handshake with WPA2 of course?
