Wifi Connection turns into "limited" automatically every time

Hi there..
Whenever i connect my laptop to wifi, it always turns into limited after sometime.
Though there are no issues in my wifi router.
And my network driver also fully up to date.

Help me please with this problem.

I would also recommend factory resetting you modem/router. There's a tiny pin hole on the back of the unit. Straighten one end of a paper clip, insert in to hole, inside hole is a reset button, push and hold until modem router turns off, then release.

This done by entering this in your browser search; 192.168.x.x where the X X is 0.1 or 1.0 depending on ISP.

What wireless device is being used? Is the driver up to date?
If there is no problem with your router then the next place to look is the wifi chip or adapter in use.

everything is up to date...
its happening since i updated my pc from 7 to 8.1 pro..
this problem was not there in w 7..

Then I suspect the driver for the wifi chip doesn't work correctly in Windows 8.1.
Where did you get the wifi driver? Does the manufacturer of your laptop support 8.1? You can tell if the drivers are supplied for your model laptop.

If no 8.1 drivers on the manufacturer's site, then it is not supported. To use wifi, your bext option is to buy a USB wifi dongle that specifically says it supports 8.1.
