WIFI adapter not connecting

I have a Realtek RTL8192CE PCI-e adapter that cannot connect to network. The Ethernet adapter is working fine. Troubleshooter gives automatic binding error. This is on a Windows 7 Pro SP1 64bit machine. I have attempted the following

1. Removed and reinstalled hardware and software
2. Removed all anti-virus and malware programs
3. Disabled IPv6
4. Set Dhcp flag in Regedit
5. Tested adapter on another computer - no issues
6. IPconfig /all does not show the adapter
7. Ran Complete Internet Repair tool as easier than command prompt for Winsock, stack refresh etc. The stack refresh does give an error that it cannot renew IP Configuration

At this point please let me know if anyone has any suggestions to this problem.

Something to check: Click on Start, type in services in search box, click on services under Programs, scroll to WLAN AutoConfig. Is Status Started and Startup Type Automatic? If not, double click WLAN, change Startup Type to Automatic, click Start, click Apply, Reboot and rerun troubleshooter to see if binding error is still present.
Else, I'm out of suggestions.

Do you see any errors in Device Manager?

Can other wireless devices connect to your network?

In answer to the first question, all is well with Services.

There are no errors that I can see either in normal view or showing hidden devices. The wireless adapter and other devices on the network are connecting fine. Honestly, this has me baffled. There were some registry issues that I got cleaned up with SFCFix, but still did nothing to help this issue.

Not sure what to suggest but another adapter. USB wifi adapters are typically pretty affordable And with an exterior antenna, often work much better.

Are you still getting the "automatic binding error" when you run the troubleshooter?

I am still getting the binding error. I have tried two USB and the PCI adapter in this computer. All give the same issue, troubleshooter states that there may be a driver issue and then the details are the binding stack issue. I have two that are different types of Realtek and one that is a Ralink. This one has be baffled.

Windows couldn't automatically bind the IP protocol stack to the network adapter
I'd start from step 4 and see if anything there and in step 5 fixes the problem.
