I normally don't have much to contribute in this forum, but I had an instance last night that opened my eyes to the differences between men and women:

Wife: I've got a headache.
Me: Do you want me to get you aspirin?
Wife: No thanks, I'll just lay here and suffer.

Although I'm not real socially aware, I took this to mean that she did indeed want me to get aspirin for her - so I did. Thereby earning positive husband points! :0) In retrospect I probably would have earned even more positive husband points if I'd have just got up and go the aspirin when she said she had a headache! Oh well, live and learn - and this after only 10 years of marriage!

Men, on the other hand, usually give one of 2 different answers in this scenario:
- No thanks, I don't want an aspirin, or
- Thanks, but I've already taken them.

The fair sex can indeed be strange at times.

Here's another scenario where you have to be seriously cautious when replying.

Woman: "Do you think this dress makes me look fat?".

You can't say yes or your dead and if you say no she will accuse you of lying.
