Why doesn't Outlook insert contacts into a new email when I type in a name?

I don't understand how my Outlook contacts list works. For example I have a Lara among my contacts.

But when I go to write her an email and type in Lara in the To field I see:

Any ideas?

Thanks. I see that the steps in that article apply to Outlook installed and I'm using Outlook online. I searched the settings and did not see an AutoComplete option.

Yep, I can't find the setting in the online version either. I use it at times for work.

I don't know if it will help but this is somewhat of how it works.
