What temperature do you keep your central A/C on at home during the day and at night? Those with Window A/C units can of course answer as well. Please vote 2x only - 1 for DAY and 1 for NIGHT. Thank you, John Last edited: Jul 16, 2014

During the hot humid summers here in the south with temps hitting the 100° F and the heat index reaching 110° F, it's comfortable.

During the day, I have the unit in the den on "Energy Saver", set to 71. The unit in the bedroom is old and doesn't have a temperature setting. I just let it run.

Even on both of those settings, I sometimes get too cold and have to turn it off for 15/30 minutes. Right now according to my AC it's 73 degrees in the room, and I'm cold.
