hi everyone! first it's my first time posting here so I'm sorry if I posted somewhere wrong or did something worng!

So I have now for around 2 months a bex error on many programs ( programs that runs in the background and randomly pops up an bex error or older games that have an bex errors too...) and I tried out the following :

- trying to make this programs as exception for DEP to fix the bex problem --> doesn't work cause it is an application that need DEP in order to run it

- disabling DEP with the CMD --> the same errors occurs but with APPCRASH (and not BEX) instead

- reinstalling the entire OS ( so a fresh windows 7 installation) --> deosn't fix the problem either

- trying all types of compability modes --> doesn't work either , keep getting BEX/APPCRASH error

- moving my game to another drive ( from my HDD to my main SSD that operates windows 7 pro) --> does not fix the problem

- reinstalling the program itself on main C: drive --> doesn't fix the problem either

- trying to install the newest versions of drivers , windows updates, graphic drivers or all sort of packages like microsoft visual c++or.net framework --> I think that I tried it all out but eventually a link to upgrade all of it to double check if the problem doesn't come from that kind of thing would be nice!

- hardware tests like ram test or hdd tests --> all ok and works but problem still persists

here are my computer specs :

-Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1

-Intel Core i5 4460 @ 3.20GHz

-16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3

-4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (MSI)

-ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. B85M-GAMER (SOCKET 1150)

-232GB Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250G SCSI Disk Device (SSD)

1863GB TOSHIBA DT01ACA200 SCSI Disk Device (SATA)

1863GB TOSHIBA External USB 3.0 USB Device (USB (SATA))

-HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24NSD1 SCSI CdRom Device

and here a few of my bex errors (sorry for the german):

first one:

there are more but there's the two only ones that happened recently so there are the only one I could catch right now ( especially some do happen if I execute a new program...), but there are also some with nvidia that are happening sometimes...

thanks for your help and if you need extra information just say so ! This is already the fifth time I post this on forums for computer helps and I am an informatician myself but its really annoying and I just can't find a solution to it.

Re: bex/appcrash error problem

Hello and welcome to Sysnative!

Have you run SFC /scannow to check the integrity of your system files? If not, please do so.

Have you tried using a different GPU driver?

Re: bex/appcrash error problem

the SFC /Scannow didn't do anything.... but right downloading all of the oldest gpu drivers and tomorrow or worst case the next day then I will test them all - one by one. thanks for your quick reply and have a good day !

Re: bex/appcrash error problem

with nothing I mean that everything was ok... sorry for this poor wording.... and for the drivers yes I will be first testing an older one but if it doesn't work I will test the other one as well.

Re: bex/appcrash error problem

a little update that I got from testing the drivers... the two Nvidia errors and acrobat distiller were all solved with a clean uninstillation from Nvidia Experience.

So it wasn't the driver but Nvidia Experience that were causing the problem for all three ( not quite 100% sure but it hasn't popped up for a long time now ....).

BUT the rappelz error ( so the splash loading error) still occur when I try to launch the game and no downgrading to an older Nvidia driver does the trick....

tl;dr: the 2 Nvidia and the acrobat distiller problem are most likely now solved but not the splash loading error from my game Rappelz. Anything else that could do the trick ?

Re: bex/appcrash error problem

Copy SplashLoading.exe file to another folder, so you have a backup, then delete it from the game's directory and try launching it again.

Re: bex/appcrash error problem

good try but even deleting it pops up the same error with the same error code.

Re: bex/appcrash error problem

Have you tried running in compatibility mode and as Administrator?

You can also try this:
1: Start Notepad (Win+R, type notepad, enter/ok)
2: Type in:
Code:
[INDENT][B]ECHO OFF
taskkill /f /im SFrame.exe[/B]
[/INDENT]
3: save (Ctrl+S)
4: Change "Save as type:" to "All Files (*.*)"
5: Set the name to whatever.bat, the important part is that it ends in .bat
6: Put ithe file you've just created in your start bar, start menu or onto the desktop.
7: Double click that file any time you want to kill SFrame.exe, which will also end game guard.

Re: bex/appcrash error problem

so I tried to putting only the rappelz exe in compability mode and admin --> not working

then Sframe + rappelz exe --> not working

and then Sframe+ rappelz exe +splashloading --> not working

and every combination of it --> nothing works

and trying to kill the Sframe exe froze my entire pc...

I knew that Game guard was persistent but to froze my entire pc just for that was a bit... harsh.

ps: thing that i just noticed : by closely examinating what hppens when I try to launch the game via task manager something bothers me : the gamemon. exe launches normally and an gamemon64.exe launches too ( gamemon aka gameguard) but the splitsecond before the splash loading error pops up... they dissapear with two other things: Splashloading and SFrame...

Re: bex/appcrash error problem

a ramdom thought.... the game has a feature where you can start multiple instances of the game at once and I am suspecting this splash loading error is the one that don't let me do that cause of gameguard.... just an extra information which will maybe help you...

Re: bex/appcrash error problem

another update : I thought that the other bex problem were solved but they ve come back .....

Re: bex/appcrash error problem

To be honest I used one I never used before in two days i will do a clean installation with the one I know... will take me a bit to get everything again ( around 1 or 2 days but will update regularly about it to let you know).

Re: bex/appcrash error problem

ohh but before I do that I would say something that could help you everytime I get one of those it is this one : the StackHash_87e0 one. Could I ask if you know of what this result could come, please?

Re: bex/appcrash error problem

so I did a clean windows 7 install and the problem still pops up.... any other ideas ?
