i think it comes from si suite, the pictures will show why i think its that
the second picture that shows the red warning on the lower right started happening as soon as i did my first start up with this computer, (i just built it 2 days ago)
changed power supply because it shorted about 5 minutes after doing the component switch, got that new thermaltake and its been fine so far,
but now that i used speccy, its showing me voltages are fine?? is that just a program error?
i dont see any heat issues, fans are barely going faster than walking speed, pc runs smooth...

thank you for your time, anything else needed will be provided as soon as i cant, but im leaving town for a week i think monday or tuesday so sorry if its only friday/saterday that i reply

Appears to me that AI suite has the sensors programed backwards.
Check with Asus to see if this is a common problem with your motherboard.

this is what i got from ASUS

My name is Yannick E. and I appreciate your patience and for giving us time to come up with a resolution for your case.
I am writing this email to provide you an update about your ongoing case. Here's the recommendation of our engineer.

The +12V rail-to-rail voltage is above +12V/+3.3 specifications. The only way that will cause this issue is the power supply or abnormal power delivery, please check if all 24pin/8pin from PSU to MB is installed properly. Unplug and plug it. I strongly advise to swap the PSU, make sure to purchase a PSu that is certified Platinum or Titanium to have very clean voltage (very close to +12/3.3V) and high power efficiency. If persist, remove the motherboard from the chassis and check for any foreign materials that short the MB.
CASE NO= XXXXXXXX

i ended up taking the pc apart entirely, put it back together, still had same problem, i reinstalled windows from SCRATCH, not even keeping anything from it, (did a backup of stuff first in seperate drive), ran windows, restarted several times as i was installing things one after another, and so far its fine... thats including AI suite 3, no problems, no warnings, nothing, fans are still going 100% for 1-5 seconds each boots tough and thats annoying, asus told me its totally normal and all pc does that, NO THAT BS, my old setup didnt do that >.> they do tend to have a few idiots on the phones but what ever... what could do that anyway? they told me its because fans needs to go at 12V to start up and the regulator in the bios only slows it down after bios is loaded seconds after you start the machine up... i guess it sounds like a good answer but... i want to call BS on that since my previous build didnt do it... any ideas?
thank for your time once again

what that message says is ALL that was said... do a system format, and strong suggestion on getting a new power supply O_o, after a complete reinstall, did not install ai suite 2, only ai suite 3, NO PROBLEM since !!!, im happy so far, i think its fine, the software just had a bug, apparently its happened many times before to other people... anyway, problem solved i think, unless its not telling me about said problem anymore lol, only trying to figure out the fan speed before bios kicks in now

If the voltage on your 12V rail was really that low, you'd have more problems than just a sensor reading going red!
On top of that, voltage reading software is notoriously unreliable, it's a good indicator, but by no means incredibly accurate or consistent.

Either way, you'll want to make sure your PSU is good quality, not just high enough wattage regardless. If it's the new ThermalTake is a Smart (non-RGB) series, it would probably explain a lot!
