Virus protection

Every time I log on I get a notice that says " turn on virus protection" in my notifications.

When I go to my setting it says everything is fine.

What am I missing.

Do you or did you have a 3rd party Antivirus installed? If so, which one? More than one?

Sometimes Windows Defender will disable itself when it's updating. It should automatically enable itself again though. Could you please provide a screenshot of your Settings pane?

You say "log on", have you rebooted?
