Hi:
While trying to update VMPlayer 14.1.3 to v.15 I got an error that I needed to find (browse) vc-runtimeMinimumx64 to continue setup of VMwarePlayer14 x64.

Where do I find it on my system?

OS: Win 7 Pro x64

Thanks, Don

VC ON SYSTEM:
2005,2008, 20010 PLUS VCCapture1.jpg

OS: Win7x64
SFC: no errors
My grip is: I can't tell which VC are NEEDED and the newest version of VMware Player asks for vc-runtimeMinimumx64 during it's setup.
Thanks for helping, Don

Hi:
Please send script to fix Scanfix errors with VC++9; the VC9++ I have is in Chinese.
Thanks, Don

I hope not. I like Win 10, but haven't got a program to transfer all my apps and errata yet.
by the way SFCFix needs to updated so it can find source info on DVD and USB Sticks.
Thanks, Don

That would likely be the fastest solution and you wouldn't lose anything by upgrading. I thought you wanted to try, let me know.

Sorry, I tried that once and my brother nearly blew up, telling me Windows 10 Pro x64 was crap...had to revert to Win7x64.

I used some AIO packs to get all the Visual C++ Library packages, but don't think it worked well since I still have the errors shown.

Wish I had a program to interrogate what VC++ and MFC file versions I need to run a program...would save me a few headaches.

Thanks, Don:wave:

Hi...

Attached are *.jpg of the errors I get trying to install VMPlayer 15 and Glary Utils, plus the log I copied installing all MSVC++ files with an AIO Installer.
Thanks, Don

Please run the following command in CMD:

SxsTrace Trace -logfile:SxsTrace.etl

Then run your application that is causing the problem (reproduce the problem).

When done, press Enter to stop the tracing and use the below command to generated a text formatted file of the output.

sxstrace Parse -logfile:SxSTrace.etl -outfile:SxSTrace.txt
