Using NVCleanstall to streamline and customize Nvidia Drivers installs

As I always recommend, make sure you have a valid backup of your drive before any tweaking or making unofficial changes to your computer.

If you are interested in installing the Nivida Drivers with a minimum of inclusions, the following tutorial will help you.

You'll be able to simply and quickly install only the driver if you choose.

This will work as shown on Win, 11, 10, 8 and 7 (32 & 64bit)

Step #1, download the file. Preferably the latest but if needed, they include older versions as well.

Step#2 You'll be able to use the current official Nvidia driver, manually select an official Nvidia driver version, or download an OEM driver to your disk and use that one.
You do not have to install NVCleanstall to your machine, it works as a standalone portable app if you wish. After making your choices, click Next!

Step#3, Here you select the components YOU want. I have been using this method to customize my Nvidia drivers for several years without any problems. Personally, I don't use the HD audio or any of the other choices listed as I install the Display Driver only as shown. I have zero negative issues. Of course, if you do use any of the components, you can easily include them here. Click Next!

Step#4, building the installer.

Step#5, more choices. I always tick the Perform a Clean Installation button but you can further tweak the installer, to keep it from including Telemetry, you can also choose it to do an unattended install (without interaction from you). Each selection gives you a description of what it does. Click Next!

Step#6, here you will choose to simply install the driver, open an explorer window to save the install for later, or create an executable to share with another computer. With the last function, you won't have to go through the creation process of the installer again, you can put it on a USB drive, open it from there and install it on multiple computers.

And finally, leave this NVCleanstall window open until the Nvidia install you created finishes. Once it's done, you'll be set with a functional, updated Nvidia Driver with your choices of what components you want in them.
