Greetings,

I noticed last week that several MS updates were failing to install. I installed a new SSD drive as my system drive in Dec. I have run CHKDSK and the samsung diag several times without errors. I have run sfc /scannow and the system compatibility checker software. The logs show over 100 corrupt files. I purchased the windows 7 pro from MS through digital river. I have the original install disk that I downloaded. I tried to do a system repair using the DVD. It failed each time telling me that my windows 7 was newer than the one on my DVD. Below is the log that your sofware SFCfix produced. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you for any help;.

I ran your zip-script. I was surprised how fast it ran due to the overall size of the file.
I then ran sfc. It showed no errors. The log shows a different story. I then ran Windows6.1-KB947821-v34-x64

Looks like the files in the script were successfully repaired, but there are even more that have been found (and some repaired) by the System Update Readiness Tool.
First reboot your computer, then follow the instructions below:


Open an elevated command prompt then type the following command and press ENTER:
sfc /scannow
When that completes, type the following command and press ENTER:
findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >sfcdetails.txt
When that completes, run the System Update Readiness Tool
When that completes, run SFCFix (just double click sfcfix.exe)
Finally, upload C:\Windows\logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log, sfcdetails.txt, and SFCFix.txt with your reply.

When that completes, run the System Update Readiness Tool
When that completes, run SFCFix (just double click sfcfix.exe)
Finally, upload C:\Windows\logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log, sfcdetails.txt, and SFCFix.txt with your reply.
 
It appears that the script in the zip file did not run, so none of the files were replaced.
EDIT: Thefile upload service appears to have corrupted the zip file, it is empty.
Please delete any existing SFCFix.zip files and download this one instead: SFCFix.zip, then drag and drop it onto SFCFix.exe and follow the same instructions in the earlier post.
 
The corruption from KB3022345 was already repaired :)

The missing win32k.sys files are from KB3013455.
The missing GDIPlus.dll and WindowsCodecs.dll are from KB3029944.

I just installed these updates on my computer, so I have created a new SFCFix.zip for you.
Same instructions as before.

Let me know if you encounter any problems.

Thank you so very much for fixing my issue with Windows UPdate. Is there anything I can do to avoid this happening in the future?

One other question. Is there anyone there that is an expert on Windows Home Server 2011? I am having an issue with client restore of single files where the log show that the software bombs when it tries to mount a drive. If there is please let me know and I will post a new thread. Thank you again.
