I'm currently trying to update Windows Management Framework to version 5.1 on a 32-bit Windows 7 Enterprise machine. Since my current Windows Management Framework version is 3.0, I'm unable to update straight to 5.1.
Currently, whenever I attempt to install this update (the file is Windows6.1-KB2819745-x86-MultiPkg from Microsoft.com), the progress bar halts at around 50% (I've let it run for at least 5 hours uninterrupted). Then, when cancelling the update, the window becomes unresponsive and has to be forcibly closed. You can see this in the images below.
