Windows will not install KB4530684. Error I get in windows update settings is 0x80070002.
Going through all the steps
2: SFCscan did not find any integrity violations
3. The issue begins here. DISM can't find a source, and despite following FIX DISM Source Files Could not be Found Windows 10/8 - wintips.org - Windows Tips & How-tos up to method 4 it still won't read the source. Method 5 recommends reading the CBS log and there it states the CBS catalog is missing - I'm stuck on that step.
4. Log is included, but it does state it did not generate a zip file.
5. CBS folder should be attached.
The update troubleshooter found nothing. The update assistant changed nothing. Upgrading from the media creation tool was stopped -0x8007001F - 0x20006 popped as the error. I have tried to install it manually from the update catalog and ran into 0x800f0831.
I also saw in a similar thread a recommendation to use GSmartControl. Results were fine, and attached.
I'm not sure if this exhausts everything I tried to do in the last 4 hours. Also asked MS support I suppose and you can figure out how that went.
Thanks for any help.
