so no change as far as update running or update service running at all and whats odd is earlier today when I sent you that log
the one I pasted the contents from and you said i sent you the wrong log I found that I believe in windows\logs\windows update\
its #13 reply above but that log coincided with the previous fix and reboot same errors but after that boot at least all my update
packages populated the windows update window showing installed updates which no longer is the case and when I've tried to
look for another log from that Dir the windows update dir no longer exists. to me it seems as though the default info that the repair utility
tried to use was different than what windows was pointing to that prob was the intent so sorry if Im just confusing you just some
observations ive made . im thinking there's some type of damage either in the registry or the update dir still leftover. I saw something in the
AIO documentation about a feature it says you normally are unable to do and it was about assigning specifically services that had been
damaged from malware ,viruses etc. To being owned by SYSTEM . not sure if this is even applicable . sorry for the long reply and totally ignore
if it seems irrelevant Im a troubleshooter though primarily mechanical so that's what I do.
just so happens the windows update system is pretty foreign to me
. lmk if you need any other files, logs etc
