I received 2 calls from our sons and with the computer off the connection was quite good. I wonder if the router could require setting changes since with all the chasing and changes I have made so far it did not clear up. I did make a recommended change to the router settings. Navigate to your routers web interface. The default username is admin and the default password is admin. (If you have not changed it) On the left, click on Advanced Setup and then click on NAT and then click on ALG. Uncheck the box by SIP Enabled. (Some TP firmware shows this as SIP Transformations which is the same thing). Click Save/Apply.

So, what was the outcome of your changes? SIP ALG and why it should be disabled on most routers | VoiceHost - UK VoIP Provider.

If this is the case, try turning off anything regarding SPI. After you make these changes, let us know if you are still experiencing issues, please. Thanks!

Does it work after one of the parties calls back?

We've had more problems with Verizon since Hurricane Michael. Even though it's been over 2 years, I don't think they've mitigated all the issues.
