When I try to install Intel audio drivers, I got an error saying that the registry database was corrupt. I believe what happened was I uninstalled it to try to install a newer version, and tried to roll back after it was unsuccessful. It has been seemingly irreparable since. I tried to use system restore to go back to a point where the driver was installed, but it still did not work after the restore was complete. I have tried several DISM commands and SFC, along with trying to refresh using an offline and online image; with everything being unsuccessful. I did use a thorough registry keys deletion tool, but it seemed to cause no immediate problems. Before that, I installed a ton of random software that I found from a stack of CDs of old freeware. The registry may still be full of clutter even after uninstalling everything. If the audio equipment isn't shown on the specs, please let me know. What should I do? Any help would be appreciated.
